Demon Lord Colosseum v0.1.2
Final Update, for now. The Roam/Lobby mode is complete. You can switch between the camera main menu and the character of choice all in the same instance. This means that I can add overworld quest stuff and all the game modes I want to add all within the world design, And if you just want to do the colosseum fights, you can go straight to it without the loading and walking. I do like the wandering and being able to talk to the people; when I add more NPCs, it feels like a game game. I hope the game can hold when I add more NPCs... It's UE5, it should work. I don't have my hopes up.
I've also added/fixed 2 things that bothered me with the combat. There were more things but these 2 were easy to do. The skip turn action now restores stamina. I don't click skip during fights but it's good to have the option. And I made it so that over heals on the slime( via itself ) makes it bigger. It gets bigger at 50 or more HP. I thought it was funny.
Now, for the reason why I was late uploading it. For my arbitrary due date of July. I initially ran into model importing problems that took 3 days to find the fix for. Its fine now, then I hade to figure the switching of pawns thing for the two different cameras and game modes. The Lobby/Roam mode code and area was fully complete on the 31st. Could have uploaded it then. What didn't exist was the SuccubusM dialogue. So I was like "is the dialogue even important to the testing of the game?". Yes, to me it is. So I did the animation and dialogue code for it and here we are, a few days late and that's ok. Just an FYI, The SuccubusM has 5 different dialogues here. 2 Start up dialogues and 3 continuous dialogues.
So, that is the Version 0.1.2 update. I may update this version again in the future just to add the music and nothing else. It's good for marketing. The next version of the game will be released on steam as early access. It will have a price there and it will be significantly more than my previous game. That said, it may have a demo version and anyways, v0.1.2 may always be available here.
Lastly, the next thing I'll need to make is the Music, remodeling the Hellcat to the current design, and giving every one 3 attack moves properly. I'll add more characters, game modes, and mechanics afterwards. Also, I couldn't add the Big Gator here because I had priorities. sorry.
