Wreck Town Cycler

This is my Submission to the 2024 Monkey Jam.

It's a game about breaking barrels with your bike. Hope you enjoy it.

It's best enjoyed with a mouse and keyboard.

controls:

W A S D  to move

Mouse to turn

Q E  to look left and right

hold  Shift/RMB   to gain speed

Stopping after hitting max speed triggers a break

Spacebar to jump

Tab/Esc  for menu settings

Note: The full scope of the game was to be a game where you rescue monkeys from cages, collecting bananas from the ground, trees, barrels and crates. You give the bananas to the monkeys which powers them up to free themselves from the cages. I was only able to complete the destruction part and I scraped the rest due to time. That’s ok because at least the game is playable.

Time took to make: 36 hours. 20 of those hours spent on the main char model…
